A purified inorganic salt produced by removing water from a naturally occuring brine solution. The brine process does not involve reactions with chemicals such as hydrochloric acid or ammonia. it melts up to 3 times faster than competing materials, and outperforms other products across a wide range of temperatures.
Making Calcium Chloride Solutions
Mix 20 lbs. (2.4 gal) of pellets in enough cold water to make 5 gallons of solution. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes or until completely dissolved. Use caution as the solution will get hot.
Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for safe handling details. Apply using a plastic weed sprayer or similar equipment. Rinse any metal parts with fresh water when finished.
